Privacy Policy & Secure Transmission | SScan

Hi Users,

This is SScan. The APP uses otg device and camera to scan every kind of bar-code and qr-code, and it depends on the picture capture via ZXing library for decoding text in image code. Don't worry about the image privacy policy. SScan Don't take every image data to anywhere for collection and send to somewhere.

How To Import Raw Data Into SScan APP From Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive,...

1. Open the drive ( Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box, ... etc. ).

2. Find SScan app icon in option menu.

3. Check the file(s) is what you selected.

4. Press OK button, and then the download progress will be in the status bar of screen of mobile device at the top. You can drop drown and inspect the notification.

5. Finally, touch the notification when it is finished, it will lead you to Archive  in SScan app.

p.s. If the raw data you want to import is in incorrect format, it will get fail at step 3.

SScans can edit and share raw data via popular drives like Google Drive, Dropox, OneDrive, Box and so on. Let's see how them work!!

How To Re-Edit Saved File(s)

1. Open the navigation drawer on the left, and select Archive.

2. Long click the file in the list or click button first.

3. Action bar will turn to selection mode as below:

4. In this mode, you can select one or more files you want to re-edit as below:

5. Finally, Click and it will bring all selected files back to scanner

Follow all steps above, user can not only re-edit one file's contents but also combine many files together and generate a new one.

How To Send The Saved File To Everywhere

How to send the files?

1. Save items you scanned and give a name to the file in SScanner.

2. Open the navigation drawer on the left side and select Archive.

3. Long click the file(s) you just saved in Archive, and then click Share button in action bar at the top.

4. The option dialog for sharing appears as below.

Where can the file go?

• Well, if you don' t want to choose Dropbox or Google Drive, please select More button. You can send the file(s) via e-mail or others can save file(s) as Box, Mega, OneDrive, and so on.

Filter Setting - What is No Symbol and No Special Character

 No Special Character :

\ / ~ ` ? ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) + = | { } [ ] ' " : ; , . < >

No Symbol (not only special character but also underline and dash):

- _ \ / ~ ` ? ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) + = | { } [ ] ' " : ; , . < >

By the way, when user want to save scanned list with custom file name, the file name can not include special character too. Don' t forget it!!
